How 90 Minutes Can Change Your Life and Business

Below is your opportunity to catch a glimpse of what members and guests experience at CEO Fellowship. We encourage you to join us soon, and you can hear samples of messages on our Audio / Video Resources page.

6:45 – 7:00 am: Pre-Meeting Fellowship

It was American businessman, entrepreneur and inventor George Washington Carver who declared, “In the still dark hours before sunrise God tells me of the plans I am to fulfill.” So as the sun crests over the Brentwood horizon on Friday mornings, businessmen and women from across greater Nashville begin gathering for CEO Fellowship. While sampling the hot coffee and breakfast fare, passionate conversations spring up among members and guests alike. CEO Fellowship members eagerly share what God has accomplished in their lives and businesses. Discussions may include the latest breakthrough in a member’s business, a testimony of transformation in the life of an employee, or the retelling of the highlights of a business-led mission trip. As Christ permeates the business, family and relational landscapes of CEO Fellowship members, “good news” is the result.

7:00 – 7:20 am: Prayer and Introductions

Friday mornings begin with prayer often led by one of the CEO Fellowship members, bringing the Fellowship into community and accord, and preparing those gathered for what is about follow…

First Time Guest Introductions at CEO Fellowship are a key highlight of the morning as Fellowship president Leonard Isaacs turns his razor sharp wit on first time visitors. With the conversational skills of a seasoned orator and the humor of a standup comedian, Leonard greets each person in his own special way, and no one gathered knows exactly what to expect… except uproarious laughter.

Beyond the humor, guests to the Fellowship recognize a man deeply committed to God’s plan and vision for the marketplace and leave those moments feeling a part of that connection.

7:20 – 7:30 am: Worship

One of the “gems” of Friday morning is Fellowship worship, lead by CEO Fellowship Music Director Alex Harvey. Author of such well known songs as “Delta Dawn” and “Rueben James,” Alex invites those gathered to enter into a moment of broken and contrite surrender led by a man whose greatest love is the risen Savior, Jesus Christ. Friday morning worship is an intimate time of raw submission, as Alex shares songs he personally crafts during the week. Alex doesn’t lead worship, he lives worship and forever changes those present with his heart, his voice, and his calling.

7:30 – 8:00 am: Teaching Time

The crux of Friday morning is the Fellowship’s teaching time, a powerful mixture of scriptural insights, practical business application, personal testimony, and challenging accountability. Each week, speakers challenge members and guests with insights and past-learned lessons in areas of business, leadership, management, and success.

8:00 – 8:15 am: Announcements, Wisdom Exchange, New Member Drawing, and Closing Prayer

Announcements at the Fellowship are a powerful time to discover what God has accomplished in the growth of the Fellowship and the lives of its members. Business Leaders having committed themselves to the Leadership Perspectives are honored for their devotion to seeing God’s principles drive their companies and visions. Wisdom Exchange gives members the opportunity to request help and support from successful and seasoned leaders and executives. New Members are recognized and given the opportunity to share about themselves and their businesses. And standing hand in hand, or clasping the shoulder of a fellow member or guest, closing prayer is a moment to ponder, reflect and dedicate these ninety minutes to the ultimate CEO, Jesus Christ.

8:15 – 9:00 am: After Meeting Fellowship

CEO members come to Friday morning gatherings for more than just moments of worship and teaching, they are businessmen and women eager to live out their lives connected to like minded marketplace leaders and passionate followers of Christ. After meeting fellowship is an opportunity to hear and align with what God is doing in the business community all over Greater Nashville. A central component of the Fellowship is its members’ desire to collaborate, partner, and stand with one another, to engage each other’s businesses and to challenge each other beyond the Friday morning teachings. After meeting fellowship provides the opportunity to see powerful new relationships and alliances germinate and flourish.
